These are lovely photos - you have a good eye for it.

You can understand that New Zealand , and the job offer, had to be pretty good, for me to leave this part of England.

That's what I mean Jewel. New Zealand had to be pretty good so that I didn't ever feel homesick for England.

But how adventurous and brave you are, to travel out to the "unknown", I admire your spirit.

Hi nation,

These pics are terrific. I never realised the area around Bristol was so scenic. I hope I can visit someday.
Thanks for posting Smiler

Yaya. I suppose that's why New Zealand became so natural for me to accept. Both places so similar.
Within a short distance from Bristol, there are many places I can recall , that are well worth a visit, and you can `google `them to see what I'm on about.
Wells, with it's cathedral, and moat, that swans have made their home.
Cheddar, with it's Goughs and Coxes caves. It's gorge, and of course, the home of cheddar cheese. If you've never tasted `clotted cream`. Then you should definitely try a Devonshire cream tea while your there.
Burrington Combe, and it's `rock of ages` the rock where John Wesley hid under during a storm, and penned the famous hymn.
I could go on. But it does say " quick reply!"
