Nation, I remember the statue at the circus all boarded up during the war. Thanks for these. Does your Mum actually live in that cottage--how fabulous--any ghosts? Brenda

Sadly , Mum passed away last year Brenda. But she lived in that place for 18 years .Loved every moment. 50 cottages , in a quadrangle, and no two cottages the same. Built for retiring or widowed duchesses and their maids. Yes ! There is a ghost, ( friendly ) in the corner cottage that is reserved for visitors. We experienced it during our two day stay !
Don't leave town , till you've seen the country.
