I will be going on the Great European tour next month. I will be using my digital camera. Are there any shops over there who will download my Smart Media card to a CD? Thanks.

Probably not.
An internet cafe usually does not have card readers. Downloading from your camera requires that you load special software that the cafes don't want on their machines. Many photoshops now have machines to PRINT from your memory card but not to burn a CD. Your alternatives are 1) buy more memory cards or 2) buy a portable storage device. Go to http://www.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1023 and search on "portable storage" for information. I got back from Italy 3 weeks ago with over 800 3meg files on my psd. Good luck. Glenn |
