I will be leaving this Sunday on the Italian Glory tour and want to bring my camcorder and digital camera. I have a backpack with a lock on it which I could store both items. Is this a good idea? Or should I jam them both into the bulky camcorder pack that slings around my neck. Would that be better or comfortable for a two week trip? Thanks in advance for the help.

On a tour I carry mine in my "carry on" bag, rather than in a separate camera bag. It's easier to carry one bag than two, and it's less obvious as a target for opportunist thieves.

Regards,

Chris

Since my back will be my carry-on bag, would this be okay?

Backpacks are very easy to carry, but you might want to carry it in the front in crowded area.
