Glenn- Thanks for the info on the site. I'm taking my new digital camera to Italy in June...hope to have some photos to post on my return. You're a wealth of information! Sue
I am going to Italy in Sept this is my first time in Europe. I travel a lot. Gone to the Carribean [at least 13 islands], mexico, south america, hawaii, alaska, canada, las vegas, all of the 50 state in the US etc., I always have felt safe. I take a lot of photos and video therefore I look very much like a tourist. All the talk of thief and people stealing your stuff right off your person is scaring me should I leave my video cam at home?

Mal, I should also say that if things go right, I'll be in Australia this year, as I see that is where you're from. Going to try to do the Discover Australia trip. Am really looking forward to it. Just dread the flying. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Barb
Hi Mal, I just visited your web page. The pictures are fantastic! I'll be making my first trip to Europe this coming June and July. I hope I'll see and photograph many of the things that you have seen. By the way, there was one photo on the Thailand link and 6 photos on the London/Paris link that did not load up. Just thought you would like to know. Archie

Thanks for the photos. They really helped to fuel the ongoing fire for my trip in 40 sleeps! I've got the beefeater set as wallpaper on the computer and will "borrow" others as I change them every couple of days.
Thanks

I had chance to have a better look at your photos. They are quite spectacular. You certainly have a great eye for composition and form. Your wife must be very patient to wait for you and the perfect shot.
I love doing jigsaw puzzles and look at photos in terms of whether they would make a good jigsaw puzzle, and your photos would make great ones.
Did you get to the cliffs of mohir (sp?) in the end?

Glad you 'fessed up about the lie. Don't you feel much better about not picking on your poor wife?
Will check out the stores making jigsaw puzzles idea. I find that I do a jigsaw puzzle and then take it up to the Rehab Centre where I work and the clients find them therapeutic. I also like to encourage them to broaden their perspective of what could be waiting for them out in the world if they put in the hard work and work with us to get their lives back together again.
