I take a photo of each hotel room & when I put my album together the hotel room photo starts the page for that day. I could always remember all the hotel rooms, but often not where they were, taking a photo has solved that problem.

The first thing I do when we enter the room is photograph it, before our stuff gets strewn around.

No particular reason why, but it's become a bit of a traditional photo shoot!

I take photos of the hotels we stayed in when we arrived, then the photos of the things and areas we see before moving on to the next town/city/country. Then I know which photos of what things are in a particular area, because when we toured I found that once you see a few ruins or lovely old buildings they all started to look similar.

Tulips...

On tours, I usually photograph the exterior of hotels, the lobby and our room at each stop, etc.

For you (and others), I will photograph the rooms on our tour "Best of Ireland and Scotland" next month. Plus,I will photograph views from the rooms.

If there is something unique/memorable about the hotel I take a photo for my own amusement. e.g. Using my timer I snapped a photo of myself (fully clothed) standing inside the minuscule shower stall!

I always take a picture of each hotel I stay at, whether on a tour or not. It's just something that I've always done and it's part of my album. Also, if somebody asks me about a certain hotel, my memory is jogged by the picture.

Yup always, including the fabulous loos, showers and closets.

Can never now forget the totally glass enlosed shower/sink area at the side of my bed in Berlin. The toilet was in it's own "cabinet" near the front door! Big Grin Big Grin Unless you shoot it, no one would believe you!

I was in that hotel too! I had a roommate that trip and we each had to go out of the room so the other one could shower. Eeker
