I know I'm worrying for nothing, but I'm not sure if I really want to go ahead with this tour (Best of Israel - 10 days - November 2008). I'm being silly. Right?
I worried before I went to Morocco and Egypt and then when I got there I felt stupid for worrying. Other than that, any advice? What to wear? What not to wear? What to expect? This will be my 3rd trip with Trafalgar. =) "Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have traveled" - Mohammed - |

You're right, don't worry! I went to Israel in 1988 and 1991 during the original Intifada and the only "bad" experience was from a trader who called my wife - she's on the big side- "An expert in Falaffel" when she advised another tourist that the tourist had overpaid. November is generally cool in Jerusalem and can be rainy. Ours was a private church tour so concentrated on religious sites, our only real complaint was that we ran where Jesus walked!

I have friends who toured Israel last year - they absolutely loved it.
What exactly are you worried about Amaranthine? Statistically, you are in infinitely more danger crossing the street at home. |
