Hi everyone,
I am a 23 year old Female who is very interested in the Costa Rica trip. I was just wondering, would I stick out going by myself? I've done trips with Contiki, but I'm not sure if Trafalgar are mostly families or older couples. Also I haven't found much on the forum about Costa Rica, so any advice would be great |

I did the Best of Costa Rica tour in 2004 as a single. I posted a short Tour Tale back then if you're interested in reading it. No, you will not stick out being a single. You will never be lonely, even at mealtimes. There might be other singles. Even if there aren't, you'll likely find that the other people on the tour will ask you to join them during free time in whatever they're doing.
You'll have a great time. It's a fun tour. It's a lot of driving, so I recommend you take an iPod or a couple of books. But it's worth it. The scenery is beautiful, the people are warm and wonderful, and the sites are incredible. Note: the tour is actually conducted by a local company called Swiss Travel. You still book through Trafalgar and all that, but the tour itself is run by that local company. Edited to add: When I tried to find my Tour Tale, I discovered it wasn't in the comprehensive list. Anyways, here's how I found it. In the Search box, type "Best of Costa Rica". Go to page 2. My Tale is the third-to-last post on that page, titled "Best of Costa Rica". It's not a long tale, so feel free to ask me questions about the tour, and I'll do my best to recall more details! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Suitcase_of_dreams, |
