I'm looking at the "Three Continents Cruise" 12 days tour and wondering what is the difference between "Moderate" and "Superior"? I mean...other than the price-wise. Can someone tell me? Confused Much appreciated! Smiler

Hey we are booked on this tour in May I can't wait! We are booked in the Superior class, basically you get one star higher hotel in Athens both ways and a nicer cabin on the cruise ship. Here is what the cruise ship looks like:

If that doesnt work google blue monarch, its the smae ship we will be sailing on! Let me know if you have further questions!

Cheers

Hi Nefirtiti8, thanks so much for the reply. I just google blue monarch and am getting all exciting about it already! Gee! I haven't even booked the trip yet! Wink totally understand why you cannot wait! Smiler also read about your other post re using euro or local currency in Egypt or Israel on the board as well; in fact, that is one of my many questions...Please do tell all about your exciting trip when you return. I'm going to book it for Oct! Cool

Have a fabulos trip!

Hey Thanks,

If I hear about the currency as well I will post you back. I just had a look at my brochure again, and there are actually 3 classes to be booked in, moderate, superior and premier, we booked the premier, why not once in a lifetime holiday. The TA/TB suites on the cruise look nice! I am hoping to get all my documents this week from trafalger, so if there is any other info u want to know pop me a post!

Cheers

I think the cabin in the superior class will be in a superior position also - some higher more expensive classes (on some ships/cruises) will also have balconies and rooms more like a suite in a hotel.

Hey all,

Just got back from the cruise it was an amazing trip. We were booked in the best cabins available on the cruise, and they were only okay. the entire ship itself is an older ship so dont get high expectations on the room like I did, just enjoy the staff on the boat who are wonderful!

Also watch what you eat alot of people of my ship got sick and a virus went around I have been back in Canada for 4 days and am still sick, load up on immodium you will need it!!

Lisa-if you have any questions at all let me know, all the countries were amazing to see, some of the vendors in some countries are very busy guard your camera they will grab it out of you hand!

I'm glad it was a great trip. Any hints on good excursion to go on other than the ones that are included?

Did you have visa's prior to your trip or were the easily obtained (i.e. Egypt)?

Thanks and I hope that you are feeling better.

Hello,

You don't have to worry about any visas, since you are on a cruise ship and you are only off for the day the ship takes care of everything and you don't anything extra. It was kind of nice, the ship basically holds onto your passport the entire cruise so I always knew where it was and didn't lose it! haha

I took most of the options, I did Delphi in Greece, it was pretty cool, expect some uphill walking but its well worth it! I also did the optional in Santorini, to the village of Oia, it was fast but breathtaking, I got engaged there, yeah! hehe And in Turkey we did the Aspendos excurison which was pretty amazing, the only one I wouldn't recommend is the one in Cyprus, since you are only there for 4 hours, its faster to take a cab into town and look around leisurely I wish I had done that like other people did on the cruise but instead I had a tour whcih was pretty much rushed, its nice to have a relax day from doing Egypt and Israel which are long tiring days!

Cheers

haha, its actually funny too, me and my fiance met on a Contiki trip (sister company to Tragalger) then engaged on a Trafalger, we just might have to honeymoon with them as well hehe!

I wonder if they offer anything exotic, like Tahiti? hehe

cheers
