My husband and I will be in Vegas on May 8th and 9th with our Western Discoverer tour. What shows do you suggest?

If you can afford them any of the Circe de Sole (sp?) shows are great, they are pricey IMO tho... Big Grin

Hi,

If you like Comedy, The Danny Gans was a great show. His show is held in The Mirage... I thought he is a great impersonator to many Celeb's
Also after the show, in the lounge in the Mirage they have live Music , Used to have a band called Isis, but they have moved their Act to The Mississippi River Area, I was lucky to have seen them a few times. last year saw their last show in Las vegas 3 days for free In the Fontana Lounge. Go to the Las Vegas Web site it will give a listing of all show's , Who, What and When.. www.lasvegas.com Have fun ... An array of entertainment to pick from.

As for shows in Las Vegas, it is your choice at the time you are there.

GM - apologies if I'm wrong, but ... Cool
Are you there both nights - ie it is easy to book for the day you are actually leaving ... Wink I know that sounds silly - but making sure of the date / confusing the date - can be an easy thing.

That said - we saw Barry Manilow at the Hilton - very good - regardless of your age. Book seats via Hilton or use the Net. Rio has a good free show - worth a visit if you have the time.

BUT - look Shows/Vegas up on the Net - amazing what you may find and the "specials" that can be available.

Does the TT Tour offer a show ? As an "extra" ?

Mike ~ I am taking the same TT as Grandmom, except I am going in September. It is a 2 night stay in Vegas & on the optionals list they have Ballys Jubilee listed. I would imagine it would be offered - no matter if its not we will pick up a show on our own on the day.

(found the note you left in another thread - thanks Smiler )

Dimpz: What dates will you be there, only DH has just booked for himself and his bro to go for four days flying out Sept 19th. I'm staying home--where I belong--in the kitchen Big Grin.

I can recommend Bally's Jubilee, and Cirque d'Soleil's "O". Both are super.

Then their are concert headliners like, Cher at Caesar's, (I think she has alredy opened - Celine Dion formerly had a 3 yr gig there) Prince at Rio and whoever else might be headlining and the hotels.

Show concert/tics can be purchased online otherwise it's pot luck with the hotel concierge, or the last minute ticket kiosk on the strip as to what becomes available.

Most likely, all are fabulous is some way. Good luck and have fun! Smiler

Speaking of E - 1 May is/was his and Pricilla's Wedding Anniversary ... Cool

Thank you very much ... Cool

(We saw a guy in Branson - Vegas without the hype and gambling - who was quite good).

Branson is a place worth a visit if you have the time - fun place for adults and kids - some great food joints - lots of shows - Dolly, etc - and a fab outlet/shopping centre - you could spend a day there alone.

Saint Mike...

Q: Is Branson really for old people? Yes or no? What about Dolly Parton?

I am retired, so I am old, maybe. Confused
