See where you took this tour last September. I am going this month. Wondering if you could let me know what the weather would be like, ( I am refering to the temps.) such as,when you get up to Yellowstone and in to Montanna. How cool was it? Is a sweater and a jacket enough to keep warm? Hear this is a wonderful trip. Can't wait. Thanks, Sharon

Hi,
The trip was fantastic. A warm jacket is fine. I had an L.L Bean two layer jacket The inner layer (fleece) zipped out. On the few cool days it worked great. Most of the trip was in the 70"s. We did have a touch of snow one morning in Yellowstone, but it melted quickly. If you have Greg for your tour guide please tell him the lady who mistook the cow for a bear from last September says hi! He was a wonderful tour guide! I envy you, this was the best trip of my life! CTTeach If I have Greg ( and I hope so, as it sounds like he is a great guide.) I will say hi from you. Would I guess there were a few laughs over you and your animai mix ups? Am looking forward to the scenery as I am from eastern Canada, and it will be quite different from up here. Thank you for your information. Sharon

If you have Greg for your tour guide be ready for a few surprises, he tries to be a trickster! We also had Josephine for our bus driver, she was great also. She always had a cooler of boottled water on the bus and sold it for a dollar. It came in handy as you didn't have to stock up and carry it. There were also a few places to do laundry and that was very helpful. All of the people on our tour were very friendly. By the end of the trip they felt like family. Have a wonderful time and be sure to tell us your favorite parts when you get back. CTteach

Hello all
I am back. Had a great time. Our guide was named Bruce. Beautiful scenery along the way!!
Some meals were good and some were not so good. Mostly the compllaint was that the buffets were COLD. Comfortalbe beds every night. Rooms ranged for Deluxe to Rustic. Weather was great, always in the high 70's to high 80's. Rained only for about 3 hours one day on our way from Denver to Vail. Bryce was my favourite park, but really liked Messa Verda as well. Would highly recommend this tour, but it does have a lot of walking, some on uneven groucd. So is not suitable for everone. Some on this tour did not realizd how much walking was involved and were a bit disappointed that they had not been informed of this earlier. My advice is do your research ahead of time. Ask lots of questions on forums like this one. I personally enjoyed the challenges of this tour. Happy trails to you all. Sharon

Might have to sioux you if you did this NG ... Wink

IF - sounds like a gr8 time. Walking can be an issue for some I agree. But, you'd assume going to places like this that walking would be involved. Good walking shoes/boots are therefore a necessity too.
