Thanks. All is well in the South. Georgia. Was just in Alberta and BC the end of May. Had the pleasure of taking the Rocky Mountaineer Train (Gold Leaf Service) from Jasper to Vancouver. Then we travelled to Victoria. How beautiful. Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday on Monday.

Glad you liked our country, I have "sort of" been to Georgia, a few years ago we were coming back from the Bahamas, and our plane had a fire and we made an emergency landing in Atlanta. All I saw was the airport, but believe me, I sure wanted to stay there, the hardest thing I ever did was get back on that plane!

(was it your Sept trip that was cancelled? have you re-booked a new one? Good Luck in finding a new tour!)

Hi SDKelly! and thank you! Happy belated Canada Day too. I took my son and traveled up throught Oregon and Washington two years ago and we took the ferry to Friday Harbor and Victoria. Wow, what a beautiful city Victoria is!! Some day I hope to be able to tour Canada and see more of your country.

I'm glad your plane was able to land in Atlanta. It's unfortunate you were only making an emergency landing. Atlanta as well as Georgia is a great place to visit. I'm still a little partial to Canada as I haven't lost that euphoric feeling I had while visiting in May. Maybe if my tour on Sept. 6 doesn't cancel, I'll get to see Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France. How exciting????
