This option looks good, but can anyone who has taken the option with Trafalgar tell me if they had good seats (i.e. were the seats near the front and center).

If the Trafalgar seats are not good we will have lots of time after the tour do do this on our own.

Did this on my own and the seats near the stage are rectranglular tables perpendicular to the stage (I was 3 seats off the stage! fabulous); they have waitress service for drinks. Don't recall the cost, but they were worth it; the show has been there for something like 100 years and is a true "las Vegas" show with a variety of acts.

You can see from almost anywhere in the theater, but not all levels have the tables or booths. Not sure what TT would get, but could you ensure getting seats independently once there? Otherwise, I suggest ordering on line and you pick them up at certain hotel front desks on a will call basis. Mine were waiting for me at my arrival at the MGM Grand. Other hotels do the same; just not sure all hotels do all show tickets that way.

Not sure what hotel you are at, but Bally's can be reached by the monorail which runs parallel to the strip on the MGM side and behind the hotels on the same side. It saves time walking-never take a cab or bus the gridlock is awful.

Also, the strip looks like it's a few blocks long on TV and movies, but actually it's about 3.5 miles from Winn to Mandalay Bay.

Have a great time!

Good point, Roxy! I found that out the hard way.

A taxi driver told us that the signs are all so huge that they look much closer than they really are.BTW, the cabs can be on the expensive side.

I enjoyed the show, too, and we sat just about where you were. It's quite an extravaganza, isn't it? Smiler

Yes, I loved it too and was also surprised at the distance to walk. From pics, I thought everything was within like 8 blocks! Big Grin

We took this option back in October 2006 but no tables were there then, all seating like a regular theatre. However, we all enjoyed it. Four of us were sitting underneath the a/c unit which proved to be rather chilly but, we were cheerfully moved to another seat - closer to the front - just as the show started.

While not trying to make up your mind for you ... I'd check out the show in your Hotel before making a decision (hint: internet). You may find its better (price and quality) and you can combine it with a leisurely dinner.

Just an idea ... Cool

(Tip: When we went to Bally my wife said she felt the cold - so take a cardigan - regardless of the weather outside).

FYI, For all visitors to the states, not to worry, our A/C is always on in high gear during warm weather! Big Grin Unlike in Europe, where in some spots it can be marginal to poor at best. None of us could function in that state of meltdown for long. I sometimes marvel how locals abroad don't seem to mind sweltering. May be why service there is sometimes cranky and less than crisp! I've heard the show is good and we planned on taking it on our US tour. However, my tour ended with 2 nights in Las Vegas and the coach left when we got there. Our TD told us that option should not have been offered because there was no way to transport anybody. Basically, once we reached Las Vegas, we were on our own for 2 days.

Dimpz - A cab will not set you back much and is very safe. Maybe share with another couple ?
