Grand Canyon is wonderful. Catching up here slowly. Got coffee beans today and some food to replenish the stocks. Did lots of washing and feeling less foggy in the head. Will visit Mum tomorrow possibly she is still in hospital. At 85 with dementia hard to keep her safe when she lives alone so she is in the best place. Talked to friends from work tonight and that dreaded day of returning to work Sunday evening is fast approaching. Don't want to go back just want to keep on touring.

Welcome back to the real world

Didn't take any longer than normal by day 3 after we got home I had the TT brochure out working out how we can fit in what we want to do and what is first priority.
First work day over and I survived to now have 2 days off then 2 more of work then a three day weekend to dream and plan more wonderful trips.

Aussbird ~ I second augusta, welcome back and thank goodness you have your brochures, now you won't get hit with post trip blues.

Paris to Prague with river cruise from Amsterdam Oct 2009 we got a great deal too good to miss. Planning UK and Ireland in 2010 TT. Really want to do Spain Morocco and Portugal as well while we are sort of in the area but depends on Mum. Some family members played merry hell while I was away causing much stress for those taking care of Mum so may not be able to be away as long as I'd need to do both. Love my brochures. I was even looking at some Aussie travel for Aug next year. Addiction I don't want to beat.

Aussiebird ~ I am sure you will love the River cruise, the company you have chosen is excellent. Have you considered putting your Mum in respite for the time you will be away, this might alleviate family problems and let you and your husband have a restful stress free holiday.

As I am sure you would already know there are some great places in Adelaide to choose from.
