I have to agree with suegreg I hope you went in and stayed for a while at the Red Dog, fun time.

A note for cost concerned travellers. If the cruise ship docks in Juneau and you want to walk on a glacier, take a cab. Juneau has the only glacier you can drive up to. It's on the edge of town so 2 or three couples could hire a taxi go out and throuth the info center and walk right out onto the ice. Just arrange for the cab to come back for the pick up.

Also some cruise lines have a see the Bald Eagle tour, well they are everywhere you look. They sit in the tree's like robins.

Good advice, Stoker. I did not go to the glacier since we have some close to where I live, we also have a resident bald eagle in our area. There are many around Vancouver and all the towns on the route.
