Have anybody been on any Hawaii tours? How was your experience and when is the best time to go?

We did the Hawaiian Explorer last October (off season) and it was a fantastic experience! The weather was perfect, and from what I understand, remains so year-round. January, February and March are considered peak season.

I lived in Hawaii for 18 years, and trust me, you'll have the best experience of your life.

January through March usually happens to be the rainy season in the Islands. Although this last year has been particularly rainy. If you read the Honolulu Advertiser or the Honolulu Star Bulletin (newspapers) on line like I do, you'll find that Diamond Head (in Waikiki) has been greener than it's been in years. But that doesn't mean it will rain all day, every day during Winter. But if you're looking for absolute sun, stick with the other months.
