As a first time visitor to US, my application for

visa was rejected twice.

Thereafter, when we touched down at San Francisco

Airport, before we depart the plane, 3 burly

security were at the disembarkation filtering

unwanted entry.

When we queued for the immigration, we were

asked whether we have any return tickets and once

presented, we were passed for 6 months entry to

US ! Phew, got thru but yet another hurdle, the

Royal Custom.

We were asked anything to declare and we replied

only packet noodles. We were whisked to another

lane and we thought we were a goner as that

would be a 100 % check.

As we approached, the officer pointed the exit

and we could hardly believe that we were out

from Fort Knox after almost 6 months of

application. We pleaded with the officer whether

we could wait for our other members but were

told to clear the area .


Once we were out, we have the first whiff & breath

of US air !


On the whole, we spend 21 days there and we

enjoyed

every part of US including the friendly people

there.

Not to mentioned the Welcome party but I

understand their predicament after 911.

We dont mind going back again.
