We went on the North East American and Canadian tour in 2000. I have just looked up my notes and in each of the Canadian cities we had a local guide to tell us about the history etc. In Toronto we went for an early evening walk which included some above- ground and some underground. All this was arranged by TT.
Most mornings we joined with other members of the same party and tried to mix and meet more. After only a couple of weeks you soon form friendships and now keep in touch by email.
We always take as many option activities as we can, because you get to see and do things that otherwise you would miss.
Would really like to spend more time in Canada again, particularly Quebec where we only had one night.
