I have never traveled solo. But I have been on 3 Trafalgar tours and on each of those there were single travelers of all ages. All three times I noticed that some family or group kinda "adopted" the single travelers. They were never left out at meal times and at any time during the tour. The tour director always does an excellent job including everyone in the fun. GO - don't stay home because of being solo. I wouldn't. A great deal of the enjoyment of traveling is meeting new people.

Go on your trip and enjoy yourself. You can go anywhere in the world you want to. Taking a tour with a group is especially nice since you're never alone, only when you want to be. Go for it. Barb

I've always travelled alone and was always "adopted". The chemistry is different with each group, but you'll have a great time. Plenty of running off room if you want to explore on your own, and usually I have found a little group that I spent much of my time with. If you're still concerned, invite me-- I've never seen Hawaii!! In any case, I don't think you'll feel left out.. You'll have a blast. Big Grin

I lived in Hawaii for 18 years as a single woman, and I believe that you'll have the time of your life there whether you're a male or female. I've also traveled as a single (both on Trafalgar and going solo to other places), and you always manage to meet people. For some reason, people tend to want to "take care" of you when you're alone. Not a problem. You'll have a wonderful time. Big Grin

hawaii is beautiful i was on a 10 day cruise there last october and extened my stay with a 3 night pre-cruise in the hyatt regency waikiki...it was fabulous...i myself have never travelled alone always with a friend or my sister and we tend to "adopt" singles on our trips usually by the end we have a pretty good size group but you always have your own space if you need...feel free to ask any questions about the islands i'd be happy to help if i can.
