We went to Alaska in mid-August. I was beautiful weather in Vancouver and on the ship. As soon as we landed in Seward it was cloudy and rainy a good part of the time a quite cool.

Thank you all for your input. We've booked the 24th August next year - Rocky Panorama, decided to save our money and just have an inside cabin. I'd still like to hear from anyone else who's been before. Smiler

We just got back from an Alaskan cruise. This year we had beautiful hot weather while in Alaska. It was in the high 70's in Seward, low 80's in Skagway and Juneau, and 80F in Ketchikan. The locals were finding it too hot. August gets the most sunshine of all the months in Alaska according to the locals.
