Anyone else on this tour? I know its far away, but just interested to see who will be on this tour. I'm going with my father and we cant wait. We've got about 100 more days or so until we depart.

Hi Tampa Traveler. We are going on the European Highlights but in our itenarary it leaves London on the 28th December and arrives back in London on the 3rd January. New Years is in Lucerne Switzerland.

Are you travelling from Australia or NZ by any chance? Those that travel on a tour from the US or Canada start their tours the day they leave home and have included sightseeing in London the next day whereas those of us who travel from Aus or NZ their start day is the day European trips leaving from London leave London hence the differeing dates. No-one seems to know why this happens. You and TampaTraveler will be on the same tour.

Yes my daughter and I are from Australia (Adelaide) . We will be in England for 2 weeks prior visiting relatives and will make our way to London the day before. Do Trafalgar pick up from the hotel(we haven't booked with them for accomodation )or do we have to find our way there. We are staying at one of the hotels recommended in the brochure. We haven't got all our documents yet

If you are staying at the Trafalgar listed preferred hotel prior to your tour, the coach and TD will pick you up from that hotel. We had our travel agent do our hotel bookings pre and post tour (at the Trafalgar hotel,Park Plaza) and this is where we were met on the morning of departure. Those not staying at the Trafalgar hotel have to make their own way to the Trafalgar departure centre near Victoria rail station and are picked up there.

we have booked our own accomodation through the internet. That is why I was curious. However the hotel is listed as a trafalgar preferred hotel. Still haven't got the documents yet so hopefully when I do they may have som place to ring.

Seeing you used the internet, as a safeguard I would send an e-mail to Trafalgar informing that you are staying at the hotel and will be there for pick-up the morning your starts. You probably will not receive your documents until the first week of December so a wee while yet to wait. I like to dot all my Is and cross all my Ts seeing we are travelling so far.

Awesome, it's great knowing other people will be on the tour as well. It's going to be my father and I. Looking forward to meeting. That's odd how people from the US and Canada start their tours earlier.
