Kathleen, Great to hear from you...we're really looking forward to the trip. My husband went to Italy when he was in the Service many years ago, and now he's keeping his promise to take me. Looks like the weather might be cool and wet. See you in Rome. Peggy

Howdy:

Jim and Ana checking in from east of San Francisco. 3rd time in Italy for us but just short trips compared to this.

Here's a link to a lot of info, including weather: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=215 .

See you all there.

Cheers

Hi Sue. Sorry to say that Jim collects beer and Ana collects dolls, so no gelato on this trip!

Awwww...gotta have some...at least a taste. I think everyone on our coach had some every day (if not more often than that!)

I agree with Sue, you must have gelato while on tour. Actually I think you can be thrown out of Italy if you don't at least sample it. Wink

gelato it IS... guess we can't bring any back, though. There'll be plenty of opportunities to put on a few pounds.

Hi Peg. Im glad to see that Jim and Ana will be traveling too. Im not sure how booked the tour is but I understand that it can be up to 49-50 people. We chose Italy because it is one of the places we always dreamed of visiting. We are flying from Newark, N.J. straight to Rome. Maybe our next trip will be to England, Ireland and France(wish list). First time on a bus tour. We're hoping its not too frantic in the a.m. and no time to digest breakfast. Can not wait till Friday!! Kathy
