HI LBEGGS, European Magic goes to London, France, Switz., & Italy. I am Italian so I cant wait to see where my parents were raised! Plus I've always wanted to see Paris and the Eifle Tower!
My husband is more of a Carribean guy, but I've convinced him that this will be magnificent!!!- I hope!
How was your tour?
Any advice for a first timer?

Juliedagno, The first day we arrived in London and we got a map and started walking. We took a ride in the London Eye a must, went to Westminister Abbey, walked to Buckingham Palace and saw Big Ben and ate at the Laughing Halibut fish and chips. We turned in at 8:00. Do some walking before you go on your trip. In France we went to Paris went on a Seine cruise at night pass the Eiffel Tower and then next day climbed it to second level. Went to the Moulin Rouge a cabaret. Dinner and show. Went to Milan, Rome, went to Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Colosseum and Forum, St. Peters Basilica, Went to Florence and Venice took canal cruise to St. Mark's square and i fed pigeons out of my hand. They didn't tourch my hand.Venice is famous for lace and Florence for Gold. In Lucerne You can only get a white faced knife. Our tour director had a brochure and asked men if they ordered on it would be read when we got to Lucerne and you could have name on it. Everything i mentioned is worth seeing. Linda

Linda,

Sounds awesome! Are you planning another trip? I wanted to go on the Lonodn to Athens originally, however it is too long (23 days). Cant take that much time off work. Im almost glad that didnt work out though because we'd be going to Spain, and with all the terrorist attacks I'd be terrified!!!

Juliedagno,
Sounds like you will have a marvelous trip. I wish I was going too. We were in Europe last summer -- went from London to Rome and back to London. It was a great trip! Seeing things that you have just read about is wonderful. Don't be too disappointed if you don't get a response from anyone going on your trip. I didn't even know this board existed before I went and since I have been back, I have not seen anyone else from our tour post on this board. Where are you from?
Cheers,
Diane

Hi Canadian Di!
So nice you wrote!
I am from Toronto Ontario! And I am extremely excited about the trip. I was hoping to talk to some people who will be on my tour but no luck so far. I guess your right, not many people know about this site.
What was your tour called? I'll bet you had an amazing time!
So whats it like in Winnipeg? Weather getting better? Its really warming up here!
Talk to you soon!

Hi Julie,
We were on the European Whirl and had a wonderful time. There is so much history -- what we think is old here in Canada does not compare to what you will be seeing. If you have any questions, I can try to answer some of them. You will get a lot of good information from the BB. Wish I had known about it before we went on our tour.
The sun is shining and the moment and we might reach double digits this weekend. We had a long cold winter and I am really looking forward to some nice weather.
Cheers
Diane
