Dear M & K: Glad to know that someone else is going. I was getting a little concerned. Would like to keep in contact with you if that would be alright? Let me know. Thanks, Gypsy Girl

Never think you are on a tour alone, if this were so the tour would not be happening Wink I went on the BOI in Feb this year it is the best and most fun tour I have ever been on. Italy is truly amazing and you will have a fantastic time

I think there are lots of people on this tour, when I went to book they said at first they were full then they told me they have added another bus.
Keep in touch. M&K

Hi gypsy girl, I wrote a brief tour tale which might give you some idea of your itinerary. Your tour begins on a Saturday and so you will most likely follow the itinerary as it is.

On Capri it is very easy to do your own thing and the lunch does take up a fair bit of your time.

In Rome you do not visit the Roman Forum and if you really like history then this is a must see I think.

When staying in the Italian lakes you have the option of going on a cruise of Lake Como and this is really a beautiful lake so you might consider this optional.

All the optional dinners I did (I did not do Rome as I had been there for 3 days already) were great, especially Burano, the island is just beautiful too.

The weather will be great, warm in Southern Italy, so always wear layers. Take just some nicer clothes for the optional dinners, but no one minds what you wear at all.

Anything else please just ask.
Helen

Dear Aussie Miss:
Thank you so much! Any info is always such a big help. I welcome any and all comments. I was wondering what it is like in Aussie Land? I have been thinking about a trip but don't know where or what yet. Any suggestions?

Hi gypsy girl, I forgot to say I also posted some photos and I think you will like them.

I have been to quite a few places in Australia and I would love to give you advice on the best places to see. Australia, like America and Canada is huge and getting from one place to another is the main issue when visiting here. The weather too is something to consider as it is extremely hot between December and April everywhere and humid in the North of Australia, as it is tropical.

Trafalgar's Wonders of Australia is very good as you see the contrasts of Australia and have a really nice train ride too. Sydney and the Great Barrier Reef are MUST sees. And this tour comes to Adelaide where I live and I am happy to show you around and you can meet some real Aussies Smiler

Hi! Greetings from the U.S.! I am on this tour also. I have never been to Italy so this will be exciting...I have been getting some pamphlets, etc. (Rick Steves)so I will have some information on what we will be seeing. I would appreciate reading about anyones past experiences on what and what not to do! Thanks so much, Marlene and Mike

I hope you enjoy the BOI tour. My wife and I did the Best of Italy and Greece tour last April. It was our first coach and what absolutely wonderful. It as an amazing experience from beginning to end, something I plan to do again.

Going through the BB will definitely give you better understanding of what to expect on your tour and from TT. You'll also find that there are quite a few people on this BB who would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Congratulatons on booking your tour to Italy! The BB is so wonderful. You can post so many questions and read the travel tales of those who have gone before. My husband and I also did the BOI and Sicily and we still talk about going back! There are just so many places to visit...not enough time (or money) to do it all! You will love Italy. The sights are amazing - so much history! The TD we had was so good. He really knew his history and he threw in lots of Italian humor as well. Very memorable. Take in everything. We did every option and don't regret one thing. Sit back, relax and let the TD take care of everything. Just be on time to the bus! Wink
