Hi Liz
We leave Cape Town, South Africa, on 7 September 2008 and are staying over at the Jury's Inn in Chelsea for the evening of 8 September 2008. Our tour definitely starts from London on 9 September 2008. Are you definitely on the same tour and if so, where are you from ?

Hi there Heather/Robert and Eliz78- hope you have fun on the tour, please let me know how it went as I am going on this tour in December!

I chose it because for the time travelled it sure covers heaps of towns and is also very economical. Fingers crossed - it'll be great!!!!

Heather,
This is Megan, BFF and traveling companion of Liz =o) Looks like we will in fact be on the same tour. We are leaving out of Tampa, FL and also staying at the Jury's Inn. Guess we'll see you there! On another note, are you as upset as we are that the Scotland hotel was changed from Airth Castle to a Holiday Inn? Then, adding insult to injury, they are lying (via email) and telling us they've never advertised Airth Castle!!

Hi Megan: My name is Linda and I will also be leaving out of Tampa for the Britain Ireland Exp. I am from Spring Hill, FL Where are you and Liz from. Look forward to meeting you. Yes, I too have a print out from the Website that we are to stay at the Airth Castle. Whats up with that?? My Mom and Dad are traveling with me. Boy our American Dollar sure is not worth a lot over there.

Sorry to butt in, but I just want to say hi, welcome to the board, and I hope your packing is organised!.

The PMs aren't switched on until after you're made a regular member, and then, only after you ask.

btw, I wouldn't leave your address up here for long, were I you. There's the occasional nasty trawler around who just loves to pick up people's email addresses.

Hope you all have great trips. Don't forget to keep journals, will you! Wink

Cheers
Mallee

Linda,

Boy, you're darn tootin' about the value of the dollar. Thank you, dubya! =o( Liz and I live in Clearwater, and are flying out of TIA. How cool is it that we're on the same tour??! Perhaps we're even on the same plane! We leave 9/6/08 at 6:45 on BA, how about you? Looking forward to meeting you - Liz and I will be so relieved to be traveling w/someone from our area, as this is our first time going anywhere overseas (well, Liz went to Spain once, but was really too young to remember much).

And that castle business is some serious bunk, if you ask me! I am working on it as I write this, as a matter of fact.....

Hi Mallee,
thank you for the heads up - I was beginning to think nobody would give me an answer!!

Also for the email addy - I'll take it down...
I specially created that address for travel only and already have been sent nasty viruses (which I didn't open of course)

Also: Eliz78 and Linda Florida girl - do you mean that on the paperwork Trafalgar sent they had a different hotel? Very strange as Airth Castle is still on their website itinerary - I have heard good and not so good things about that hotel. It looks cool but there are two main accommodation areas (one outside the castle) so its luck of the draw... I'm not sure I'd want to stay overnight in an old castle anyways... Eeker
