Ok, I've finally did it and decided that I will be going on this tour commencing 15 Sept 2008.
At the moment I'm travelling alone.

Is anyone else going on this tour?

Hi Icequeen,

I'm in Sydney.
Your pretty brave, first time oversea's and your doing it on your own. I can't wait. This is my first time going to Europe and I hope it is exciting as I anticipate.
What are your plans at the moment? Are you staying a few days in London before and after the tour or are you pretty much doing the tour then going back home?

I'm just staying night before and the night after. Although, it might change if I can get my friend to come along.

I'm flying with QANTAS.

Hey Kristy,

Will you be staying at the Ibis, Earls Court, before and after the tour. At this stage I'm just booked the night before the tour commences.

At this stage I haven't organized my hotel at the end of the tour. Hopefully I'll get some ideas from this forum.

My friend won't say whether he will be going or not until a couple of months prior. I told him there might be a possibility that the tour will fill up and he could end up missing out.

sounds good!!

I have paid all of my airfares off, now all i have to do is finish paying the tour and save my spending money. i have already started reading some of the lonely planet books so that i know what to expect and have an idea about what i would like to see in my free time.

How are you going??

I've already paid for my tour and airfare. So, like you, I only have to worry about saving for my spending money. I paid the extra for the single supplement. Did you?
At moment I'm just trolling the internet to check out the places we are going to.
There were two girls who posted in this forum who went on the same tour around 27/12/07, so hopefully they will post again and tell us about their trip.

Just under 9mths to go...... Big Grin

I am getting excited about it all now!!! i wonder if anyone else is going on this tour is going to join the forum that.

Hi Icequeen, I thought since it's only another 6 months to go until the commencement of our tour, I'll give this topic a bump up the list.
Getting a little excited now at thought of getting over there.
How have you been? Have you done anything in preparation for the trip? At the moment I'm tossing up whether to exchange some money now or do it closer to the departure date.
Hopefully there will other people on the tour who will see this post.

Hey Icequeen,

At the moment, I'm just checking out stuff on the net to see what I can do in the city we go to where I don't think I will be doing the "Optional".
I'm also looking at what I can do in London on the day before and the day after the tour. Taking a ride a the London Eye is on my "must do" list.
At the moment I still travelling alone as my friend still hasn't decided.
