Should have said, "some other forums extend . . . ." I received several invitations to pm people for more explicit advice or responses to questions I asked on Tripadvisor forums the first or second time I posted. They're an enormous conglomerate, and it seems to work.

Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

I don't know if it would be particularly useful to list the tours we have been on, since many of the itineraries have been renamed over the years. There are a whole lot of tour names these days that weren't around ten years ago.
It has never occurred to me to list my tour experience like a resume - nor have I ever felt moved to explain my whereabouts via the Who is Going Where list. This is a very unofficial list that used to disappear every once in a while and reappear later. It's not compulsory. Smiler
What would be useful, I think, is if TT Web would hyp[erlink the tour names (is that the right term?) to the web site, so that when someone inquires about a tour, we readers are a mouse click away from looking at the itinerary so that we can answer questions.

You "hit the nail right on the head."

We joke, but that is exactly what happens with all of the "one liners" (sometimes one word or an Emoticon") as some race to the next level That's one reason why the "search " feature" is worthless: too much clutter . We're all guilty, but, at times, it has become an "art form,"especially as the next level is within reach.

Since I've bee here, I think we have had 2 or 3 crashes and all posts were lost and we all started from the beginning. It was something like a Forrest fire rejuvenating the forest. Maybe we're due.

Agreed! I have taken at least one TT that no longer exists.

I too would love a hyperlink feature (like you I have no idea about the correct terminology)Many times I see a question asked about a certain TT & it certainly takes some searching on the main site to find which TT is being referred to & which countries it visits.

Dimpz: If I remember correctly, at one time in the fairly recent past, TTWeb said they were going to try to provide that feature. I just haven't seen it materialize yet. I can't distinguish an Interlude from a Whirl. Smiler

Oh Dimpz,

I didn't think any tour of Spain could possibly miss Cordoba!!! I can't believe it !!

Do a little research when you get a chance - it's one of the special places on earth IMHO.

Never mind - that's an excellent excuse for you to return.

CA ~ I have been 'researching' since Bob asked the question & I tend to agree with you that it looks like a 'must see'.

No matter we plan to re-visit Spain & Portugal as we feel there is so much more to experience in both places. Cool

ESPECIALLY THE MEZQUITA

Whenever we discuss Spain, we must always remember that it was occupied by the Muslims for almost a thousand years 600 AD to 1492 and that shapes Spain till today.

The "Great Mosque of Cordoba is, in itself, a history lesson of the transitions during the various periods; it is obvious as you walk thru the Mosque,(aka Mezquita which is huge
