Go to profile, edit profile and add what you want as a "Signature"

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.

What I'd like to know is how you get those little pictures (avatars).

Hi NW Gal, the avatars are in the same edit profile area that Tangata has described above...just click on 'go' at the top left of the screen and then 'personal zone'.

Avatars are the pictures underneath your name; emoticons are the little smiley faces you can insert within the text of your message.

I think you can choose one of the existing avatars in the profile section but you have to have a certain number of posts or karma points to upload a custom one and also be able to add a little phrase under your name.

Keep posting - you'll get there!

I wish more would do it. That way if I see that someone had listed a tour that I am doing soon, I could ask them questions that I might have. That's why I list them. So many helped me at the beginning, I'd like to help back.

I thought that most people stopped listing their tours because they have done so many. What other theory is there? I took mine off because I am hoping one day to have so many that it would be impossible to list them all. Big Grin

Cheers
Gerry

Too many trips and not enough time.

Dimpz: Are we supposed to be listing all our tours? I don't understand what you are referring too.

None whatsoever, nor should there be. You do get private messaging privileges after 300 posts but not sure why 300 or why it's a privilege since other forums extend p.m. immediately. I don't really understand the different categories for members, nor why they're necessary but it is one way of the host site to display their power I suppose. Wink

Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
