Well folks I haven’t been on line here much over the past few months due to a combination of things ranging from interstate trips to crashed computers (and I mean the plural) but now it’s almost time for the Dragons to take wing again and head off for a combination of 2 tours plus our own leisurely sightseeing.

We leave in just under 48 hours for Germany, Austria, France, Czech Republic, Turkey and Singapore. As we intend to pack tomorrow I may or may not get on line again before we leave. We will return to Oz in late September.

Cheers to all of my BB friends and catch you all again later in the year.

We finished packing about an hour ago and we have our mini bus pick up in about an hour so I am off to have an early lunch and then get ready.

The Dagons have now returned to their Laire and are settling back into everyday life after 2 great tours and a wonderful time in Prague and Singapore.

Thanks everyone for your comments. We had a fantastic time and it was a pleasure meeting up with so many of the people that I have chatted with over the years. It was the friendship and co-operative nature of all our fellow travellers that went a long way in making the BB tour such a pleasure to experience.

Sadly all good things eventually come to an end but the pleasure of the memories remain with us. Memories of both the places visited and the companionship of our fellow travellers.

Was your second tour Insight or Trafalgar?

Hi Missie

On this occasion both tours were with Trafalgar's sister company Insight. Prague and Singapore were both independant visits.

Not sure yet about posting a tour tale on the Insight BB (re the BB tour) as I thought at first that it would have limited interest, however there appears to be a few requests for one so we will see what happens when things quieten down a bit for me. I have come back to a rather hectic time at the moment so it will be at least a couple of weeks before I can turn my mind to it. In due course I will do one for Turkey though.

Puff ~ I have seen the photo's of the BB tour and they are excellent, looked a fantastic tour.
I will look forward to reading anything you write.
