If you have any comments about how you are getting on with the new website search and filter functionality please let us know here. Some feedback at this stage would be really useful. Also any other aspects of the website that you like, dislike, leave you baffled or would like to see added.

Many thanks in advance.

All well at this end, TTWeb, thank you and congratulations, it looks great, although I still miss the old "community" page; it's much easier to find a tour, (I find funny the description of the Paris and Normandy river cruise as a "2" countries tour, just a typo, I guess). Thank you again for checking.

I find much improved research capability by using different criteria.

I would offer the suggestion to darken the tour name titles, any headings and change the color hue. I find it kinda washed out; it needs to pop more for the reader.

I think it is great. Quick, easy to navigate. Well done.

One thing I liked but I think is missing now is client reviews on the specific tour outlines. I know at the end of my first tour everyone wrote down their thoughts and I am sure you can take that info and make a review section... Of course it would be all positive but it will also get people excited hearing how others have loved it!

Hi Californian,

Thanks for the feedback. Can you tell me what you specifically miss about the old community page? I have corrected the river cruises (will go live shortly). Thanks and well spotted.

Hi Roxy,

Thanks for your comments. We actually darkened the headings on Wednesday as you were not alone on this. Have you looked at them since then? If you have the time, please take another look and let us know if your comments still apply.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks timetotravel. We also feel this is important and will deliver this review functionality ASAP.

My personal opinion is that the gray tour headings and blue sub headings need more contrast. I like when you hover over a tour name it turns red. . .that pops nicely.

Something else that would be of value would be to add the driving distances; particulary the day you are heading to a new hotel stay.

e.g. "Day 12 Costa del Sol to Barcelona"
Approx. 300 miles today.

Something like that anyway. It gives the travelers an estimate of just how long traveling might be.

Thanks for the interest in our thoughts! Cool

Would it be possible for tour names posted on the BB to be linked to the web site to spare us the trouble of having to go there and look up itinerary information when people need information or advice? It would be so helpful if we could just click on the tour name when it appears on the board.

Hi Caitie - we think alike. That's exactly what we hope to bring you very soon.

No problem TTWeb,the forum page is fine, the old community page had the last postings, about 10 or 12, I think, and it was easier to see if someone had responded or added, but not big deal...it's a great new site, Catie's suggestion is a good one, I am glad you are already thinking on doing it.

Hello TTWeb

I also like the new format. The only thing I have to suggest is to make the View All Forum heading bold so it is easier to find. I know in the past most of us on tours didn't even know about the forums before our trips. Some people out there in web land don't know what "community" means. Anyway just an idea for you.

Thanks

Hi TTWeb
I think the headings still need to be bolder. They don't grab your attention.
However compared to some "other" sites I have looked at, the features you have set up are certainly a cut above Smiler

TTWeb...

The new site looks nice, but please make it easy to use. Gordon Ramsay would would agree.

It seems it was designed by different web designers and then combined.

Suggestion: I would like to see a search window, where I can just plug in the number of days and get the tours for example. Also, simple search windows for Europe, China, etc.

I plug it in and you find it, which makes it easy. Not the present, where I hunt and try this and that and hope for the best and waste time, etc.

Make it easy and simple, please.

Sorry,

You probably hate my guts for such suggestions!
