The loss totally spoiled the 50th birthday party we were at for at least an hour. Ah, well, it is only a game. Big Grin

We hope to have better success in this afternoon's semi final netball game against Australia's NSW Swifts. My home town team Southern Steel (ex Southern Sting merged with Otago Rebels this season) just missed the semis, so will have to support the Magic.

A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline.

FLYWING KIWI ~ for which team does the former South African Iréne van Dyk play? I believe she is very good?

Dalene, she plays for the Bay of Plenty Magic. Although this team is based up north she live down here in the Wellington region. She's a school teacher here. She is very good and I think she is quite a mentor for our goal shoots. Should be a good tight game this arvo...

I'm glad there was such a bright future for her in New Zealand. Yes, "tall" is an understatement! Smiler

It is meant to be, & the atmosphere is always electric when it is performed.

This is wonderful to see when the Haka was performed & the Tongans also performed their war dance. I am lucky enough to have a Maori brother-in-law & a Tongan brother-in-law.

Our Sunday paper heading today in RSA: "What a victory!" "Yes, it is House of Pain - for the All Blacks." (Needless to say in End Day Font Roll Eyes) Well, it is good to read some good news on the front page for a change!!

Dimpz ~ my daughter and I were lucky to be at a small airport in our country (George) where the Seven's were hosted in the RSA when ALL the rugby players from New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, Tongans etc. were there waiting for their connection flights. Hmm hmm hmm, what a feast of testosterone! Smiler
