Hi from an internet dummie.
Has anyone else had any problems accessing the 'view more' links on the Trafalgar video page? I get a message "The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. " I think (perhaps 'feel' would be a better word!)that the trouble must be the Telstra server (Australia) rather than ours at home, because I changed my security settings to practically nothing, but still got the same message. Any advice, anyone? Thanks |

Hi from another Internet dummie, Mallee!
I just tried the page you were having problems with and it was okay from here. Over the past two or three weeks I've been getting odd error messages when trying to access the main Trafalgar site. Things will work just fine for 95% of the time and suddenly I will get messages referring to "not enough memory", among others, all just relating to the TT site. Maybe someone can tell us if these are just glitches in the system. I'm not doing anything differently, so I suspect that's the cause. "Laughter is the music your heart can dance to. . ." |

Tootsie: I have received the same message about "not enough memory" and have no idea what it means, everything else seems to be working fine.
And no smart cracks from anyone about our memories. Missie |

Missie I may have an answer. When I attended the travel expo a couple of weeks ago I asked at the Trafalgar site why I could not find my tour on the web-site, the answer I was given was that the Australian site was getting a new server to make it faster. I am not sure when this will be completed but I have been unable to access the site for ages, it just times out!
I don't think this could be linked to the problems that Toots is having though.......could it? Sorry I am not a techno-head & have no idea. Live each day....instead of counting the years. |

Hi everyone, I was looking about on this part of the forum and so far all videos and links have worked well for me. I am on broadband ADSL2 Sydney, no problems here, cheers.

Thanks everyone for your replies. My apologies for not responding earlier, but I've been trying to limit my time on the board - until the withdrawal symptoms became too much for me.
It was all a false alarm, and I'm sorry to have caused you to run around to check it out. The labels on the links have been changed (from memory), and I can now look at the videos. This, btw, does not go down too well with the other users of cable broadband here, for which I pay, I've had to remind them! However, the Sound of Music Tour is still advertised only as a winter tour, and does not mention MY tour in May 2008. "Don't panic" is the order of the day, I think, but I'll definitely pass on a bit of agitation to my TA. Thanks again. |
