I've deleted and re-made the video, to eliminate the error in the music.
You can find it on `youtube`. search `tokoroatoni.`

Nation: I'm moved to tears. Thank you so much for this video. I feel like I'm there. How is your sister, by the way.

Brenda

Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

How strange Brenda ! The very same words that my sister used after watching the video.
It's not my sister , but the brother-in-law that has now been sent home from hospital with a maximum of 5 months to live.
Knowing that he is now chair bound, and only able to feed through a tube to the stomach, I thought I would try to brighten his day, and am creating such as this video, knowing he loves the classical music, and will send a couple of DVD's of our travels at regular intervals.
I told him, he is now my `captive` audience` !
Though I was a bit concerned when my sister said he had tears in his eyes, watching this video. But assured me it was tears because he found the video beautiful.
I felt touched hearing that.
In my other video.( yet to be opened ) " remembering summer" , that's my sister and b-in-law stood on the Papamoa beach, back in Christmas when they flew over. How quickly does this cancer strike ????
Enjoy every day given to you !! Wink

Oh, Nation, I'm sorry. Of course, it is your BIL who's very ill. I wish him and your sister and in fact all of you the very best during this difficult time. I'm so glad you made this video for him, Nation, and that you generously shared it with us.

Thank you

Brenda.

Beautiful Nation, thank you, very touchy you made this for your brother in law, I hope he's in good spirits. Was the singer Sarah Brightman? and the name of the piece?, I would like to put in my iPod, it's very inspiring. Thank you again, the best for your family.

Good morning ( friday) Californian.! The music came from a triple album titled "Peace" ( EMI ).It was a job to decide on which track, the three CD's are that good.
This particular track is Handel's "Lascia ch'io pianga " The duet is between Craig Leon and Isobel Cooper.

Knowing the Brother-in-law's taste in music, we sent him an album for himself. I know he'll enjoy it, and maybe it might help him in later days.
The particular hotel on the preface, is lit entirely by chandeliers of candles. But as I tried to video it closer, so the boat decided to turn into midstream !!

Nation thank you for sharing such a personal record of your trip. I don't remember anythng of our taxi ride through venice, we were stuck in the cabin and asphyxiated with the fuel fumes.
I am sure that your videos will give your BIl much joy as he becomes an armchair travellor and tours with you Smiler

Cheers

Nation, what a lovely thing to do and I'm so sorry about your BIL. Your video brought back such lovely memories of my own visit to Venice. I'm sure he will love it!
