I recently returned from this trip and it was wonderful. Our, TD, Monica Agnew had so much knowledge to share on all the countries visited.

She had a great personality and that also help to add all the great fun we all had.

I did make it to Plitvice National Park with a private tour with 4 others from the group. No rain for the past 30 plus days so the waterfalls weren't quite as impressive as most pictures. I went at the end of September and surely thought that the waterfalls would be spectacular. Sometimes you have the weather patterns which help in your visits other times you make the best of your visits.

We are booked on this tour in Sept 2010, so excited. Did you have any visa issues? What was the temp? Clothing advice? Any must do/see places? What were the optionals like. Thanks

UP & AWAY,

Sounds like you had a great TT. Are you planning on giving us a Tour Tale of the trip?

Places Trafalgar have taken us: England, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.

No Visa requirements this year. Uncertain what next years requirement may be.

-You ought to have good weather that time of year. Still was a tad disappointed that TT had quit the optional to Plitvice but would recommend getting there one way or another, regardless.

I enjoyed make that loved the Salt Mines option in Krakow. I had great insight from other BBers travel tales and most likely will not find time to write my own. Elder care issue to much consumption of time.

For anyone who has not been on this tour - it is highly recommanded. Best time of the year to go - April, May.

I also did this tour this year and had Monica as my TD she is wonderful and if anyone goes on this tour and has her as their TD they will be very lucky. She never seemed to be bothered about anything but I guess that comes from the 20+ years she has been a TD. For anyone looking for a tour this one is one that I would have no problems recommending to anyone and as I have said before if I did not want to go to other places in the world I would go back and do this tour again tomorrow.

No, I did not have Monica but we had Goran. He was amazing. What a nice guy, was born in Croatia or Slovania but lives in England. He has so much knowledge of the history of the area, so very helpfull in any situation and just a pleasure to have as a TG.
