We were wondering what the dress code is for the farewell dinner we will be having in Paris. We are trying to cut down on clothes we are taking, but i dont want to not dress properly. I appreciate any comments. Also i love the board and have found lots of answers to my questions.

The beauty of a TT tour is that you wear what you want. No keeping up with the Jone's. Only dress code I have ever heard of is that code required to visit some churches.

Hi mika,
We were at the European Dream last year in May, and our farewell dinner was at chez Clement restaurant at the Champ Elysees. The attire of most people was casual, and some had light spring jackets on. The dinner was ok, but the atmosphere within the restaurant, was not as "spirited" (so much red wine) and lively as the one we had during our optional dinner in Rome. Cheers and enjoy your European Dream holiday ! Travel N Learn |

Yup. That's what I love about TT...doesn't matter what you wear!!!
I wore jeans/shorts pretty well everywhere on Bohemian Highlights...including the Chopin Recital, Vienna Concert, Danube Cruise and all the dinners. Everyone else was casual too. So I recommend that the fancy stuff stays home and that leaves some room in the luggage to bring back more souvenirs. 2009 - Bohemian Highlights, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Jordan 2010 - Planning on Contrasts of Scandinavia + Moscow and Grand China (Any tips?) |

There's no need to dress up for any of the dinners although sometimes people do wear something a little dressier for the farewell dinner and by that I mean Smart Casual. I've never seen anyone wear shorts to dinner.
Jeannie A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. |
