I am new to this sight and am interested in the river cruises Imperial Russia and Waterways of the Czars. Has anyone gone on either of these trips?

Susan, I believe this is the first year that Trafalgar is offering the river cruises ( I just received my booklet), so I don't think anyone has had an opportunity to take a Trafalgar River Cruise. But perhaps someone has taken a river cruise with another company and can give you information.

We are thinking of taking a river cruise or canal boat cruise in the U.K. sometime in the future.

HT - I believe they operated this year too, so hopefully someone will have done one!

We have taken the Russian River Cruise on Peter the Great Cruises - fantastic - small ships - great food - many side trips offered but make sure you have time between regularly scheduled activities and making the bus for the side trip. Traffic in Moscow so congested 24/7 that you should book at least 2 extra days there in a hotel - safe - no problems - Rooms on ship very small but quite suitable ; air conditioned; shower not luxury but very clean and comfortable - staff willing to help with any needs - on -board activities a variety and of course - audience participation makes everything more enjoyable - well worth the cost
