They finally arrived!!!!

Everything appears in order. I noticed that we only have 70 minutes to change planes in Munich for our flight to Athens.

I know that this would be totally impossible at some airports, but does anyone think it will be a problem in Munich?

Now I know why we didn't get our seat assignments for this leg. Frowner

I'll just make sure we all have a change of clothes in our carry-on.

Mrs Toad: We changed planes in Munich and I have to say it is one of the nicest, most people-friendly airports I've ever experienced. Thanks to someone here, I got to know that in the departure lounge (maybe you won't have time but keep it in mind) there is free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and magazines. How nice and surprising is that?

Anyway, while you don't have a lot of time, you'll find Munich easy to negotiate for the next leg of your flight.

Brenda

I'm so glad you finally received your docs, Mrs Toad. Like you I have a connection time of only 70 minutes, but in Paris not Munich. Everyone has reassured me that it will be ok, so try not to fret. I have a longer connection time going over so will familiarize myself to the terminals than.
Have a wonderful time in Greece! I am going in September so look forward to hearing how you make out.

Making every second count.

Glad you finally got your tour documents.

For future reference (this applies to anyone), if I am booking airfare through Trafalgar, I always get the flight times and connections before I book. More often than not, I don't like them and I either make TT change them or I book my own flights. TT does tend to have tight connections and while they think it is not a problem, I personally refuse to be stressed out with short connections.

Unfortunately, I also had to coordinate an nonTT flight to get to the departure airport, without making a connection in Atlanta.

The only nonstop flight from home would not get to any other flight that was NOT going through Heathrow, which was another stipulation. Three family members have either missed connecting flights (and my daughter had over 3 hours there!) or have had missing luggage. It took one of them almost a week to get it; fortunately, it was the return trip.

Traveling any distance from here is a real pain, as we only have a couple of nonstop flights to only a few cities, with most of them connecting someplace else. Thank God my daughter chose to live in one of the "nonstop flight" cities.

Mrs. Toad: You will have enough time between connections. I have been thru Munich airport and it's not too bad. A lot better than the ones in Paris and London which are real nerve racking. Check before you leave the plane at Munich which gate your connecting flt. leaves from. You very likely don't have to pick up your luggage until your final destination so no time waiting for it . You just have to probably go thru security . Don't hesitate. MOVE. Use the facilities before landing so that you don't waste time getting to your connecting flight. . Don't worry it will be fine. Have a great holiday. Glad to hear your docs arrived. Purvis
