Rex, from what you've said about you and your tour, he would have really enjoyed himself! Smiler

How would he have coped with a grump, do you think?

Cisobe - I sincerely hope we get Calvin on the ultimate. He sounds fantastic. I think you mentioned previously that he said he was doing the ultimate in september so im keeping my fingers crossed that he still is. We'll be stuck with the td for 32 days so itll be a long one if it doesn't work!

I found that td job is to imform and make sure everything runs smoothly. You are dealing with so many different expectations of what the client wants. Some want information on the culture, people and history. I myslelf wanted to understand how the people ticked. Interesting how france has so many ideas on how great they are. I understand that they are great but you know so are other cultures. We had a td julian who was very knowledgeable and a great historian. I found it very interesting to see the different parts of france. I thoughly enjoyed. My son who is in his thirties was never bored....

look we loved it...Everybody has different expectations of what a td ...should do. I do not envy that job...Its tough...julika
