Oh Missie, that is easier said than done! Back to work today to do all those things that no one else can do and feel awful again But, now I can reallyget into the holiday spirit, so I am very busy "wishing" this dreadful bug to be gone and looking foreward to the next few weeks. YYAAAYYYY

Jewel ~ Maybe a visit to the doctor is in order to get some antibiotics just in case this gets worse over the next few days. Get plenty of rest and enjoy your excitement.

Just read this Jewel. What a shame to get a bug before you go on holiday. One normally gets one during the tour, or when we get home.

Jewel: If your cold is not much better by the time you board the airplane may I suggest you take along some nasel spray and cough drops to keep your ears from giving you a bad time. A head cold can on ocassion cause some ear problems which you really don't need at the beginning of your holidays. Purvis

Correct, Purvis, and I also suggest you take an antihistamine of sorts to dry up your sinus passages and protect somewhat your ears. What a horrible thing to have happen, but with luck it will be fine by the time you land. Take care of yourself, Jewel.

That has happened to me. I used nose drops 20 minutes before leaving London and then 30 mins before arriving in Singapore. Unfortunately my nose drops were confiscated by security (when they were being extra strict about what you could bring in to the airport. He felt so sorry for me he gave me a voucher towards another lot of nose drops.
