Back then, they would take 2 passengers from CDG to Paris center for 47 Euros in a shared vehicle, (28 Euros for a single passenger) or 89 Euros in a private vehicle. They send you a toll free number that you call on arrival. I've used them several times and never had a problem with them. You can pre-book them and their drivers speak English if you don't want to speak French.

London - the mini cab is perhaps the best way from Heathrow to just about anywhere.

We went from the city to H for 30 pounds. No extras (except tip). You can organise over net for collection on arrival. But, its easy and reliable - IF you book with a licenced mini cab firm.

Cheaper than Dot to Dot too - if 2 or more.
