Rex, Dalene, were you serious when you said that it is in bad taste to talk about him, or was that one of your jokes?

Sorry Dalene. I should have gone back and checked. Thanks for the links, btw. I found a wide range of views.

Mallee ~ I'm being serious. One has to respect these beliefs and therefore it is in bad taste to joke about it. Smiler

We have always respect their believes. If anyone is a firm believer in these believes ,then you must forgive me.However I believe that what you believe, you will see(good or bad).As I have seen the bad things these believes make people do,expecialy to children, then again forgive me for not walking catfoot around this.

If I may enter the gossip thread ... Cool

I may shudder at times - but I also smile at "bad taste" jokes. Humour is a wonderful thing.

However, I think we do have to wary of being "funny" in the wrong spot or with the wrong person. I am constantly being told my sense of humour is not "everyone's cup of tea" ... by you know who ... Wink

My only real rule is not to be cruel/hurtful.

Rex and Dalene~ Absolutly fascinating information! I am learning so much from you, it's wonderful to get information "from the horse's mouth", so to speak.

I don't know. There's nothing but regulation nowadays. You'll suggest next that we keep our posts to the subject of a thread, Rex, and then where would we be? Big Grin

Ok Rex Big Grin You're just nagging us as payback for nagging you for a tour tale Big Grin. Hmmm part 2 ???
I'm 43, married 19 years with a 17 year old son and a nearly 15 year old daughter. I have a toy poodle x maltese called Pepsi and 3 cats - Raindrop (tailess tabby), Brie (blue point Birman who has a split personality) and Mr Spock (choc point Siamese with huge ears and who is constantly getting into trouble). Used to have fish but couldn't bring them to Australia, thank goodness I said no to the rabbit Roll Eyes. Been in Melbourne a year now though we lived here for 2 years previously. All the family are back in NZ except for my little brother who is here in Melbourne too. Originally from Auckland but also lived in Wellington and Kapiti Coast for a while. We move a lot because of work. Sometimes think I could be a professional moving consultant. I do a bit of accounting work from home but had to leave most of my clients behind in NZ. I love gardening, reading, walking and travel!
Tomorrow night we have a Pirates and Pearls charity ball to go to. Eat your heart out you other Johnny Depp fans or maybe just wish me luck transforming my poor husband Wink He has no idea what he's in for. Big Grin
