I purchased one last year, had a Nokia 6085 and visited Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic and had not one ounce of trouble... every time I crossed a border it automatically found a new provider. You just have to have a phone that is not locked to a provider.. some providers have fairly high charges for unlocking the phone - it can depend on how long you have been with them... I had to pay $50 for Telstra.. You get the number (it's a UK mobile number) and all the details .. I paid for registered post and it arrived with 48 hours.. Used it mostly for SMS .. but did ring my Mum for Mother's Day  |
