Hi Chech,

Thanks for popping in to the BB while on tour offering little tit-bits of info....

My question: How is the weather/temperatures? It's a week until we leave arriving in Denmark on July 3 after a couple of days in both Hong Kong and London.

The weather is central Europe sux. LOL.

It looks like it's only going to last to the end of the week, with the sun coming out just as I'm scheduled to get on my plane in Frankfurt. It's raining out there so hard now, that I expect our tour is going to become a river cruise.

The weather changed fast. In Budapest, the weather was sun and high 20s all week before we arrived, but the day before, it started to rain and has followed us to Vienna. It is pouring and it has not stopped pouring all day!!!

Granted, the only thing it does to the tour is make it hard to get pictures from the bus or from a scenic point of view. We lucked out with a clear night for the Danube cruise, but nothing good else good since Krakow.

If you want to follow the weather in Denmark, try this site. It has been fairly accurate:

Looks pretty good except for some showers. (We're not getting "showers" here....we're getting a Noah Deluge Special)

Thanks for that website Chech. I will be in Copenhagen on Thursday for 4 nights. I use www.accuweather.com but I don't find it very accurate, but maybe no forecast is. Roll Eyes

Better pack our little fold up umbrellas...Just as well they weigh next to nothing as my case is already at 18kg after culling several items

Yeah. I check accuweather at home all the time and the only time it's truly accurate is for "current conditions" which they take straight from Environment Canada.

I've been really happy with Intellicast's accuracy. Not happy with what it's forecasting...lol

Now...where did I tie up the canoe...

Oohhhh, just checked that weather site Chech. It's not too warm at the moment is it. Summer? 18c, my goodness. Thanks for the site. I'll check it again in the weekend as we are leaving.

Jeannette ! I've been in New Zealand for the past 30 years, and I have to say, this is the longest coldest spell I can remember !
Wouldn't surprised if we didn't experience our first snow in Tokoroa !! Frowner
( But it hasn't stopped Mrs Nation and myself having our 6-30 am swims down at the heated swimming pool in town each morning!)

Don't leave town , till you've seen the country.

It sure has been cold Nation. It seems relentless. There has not been any let up for so long. I think it is because it all started so much earlier then usual. My Aunty said there was a light dusting of snow on a few of the hills around Rotorua the other week. I was hoping for some nice warm weather next week in the northern summer but it is not too warm really at the moment where we are heading.
