I flew BA in August of this year and they were fine. I had 1 hr 45 minutes at Heathrow and barely made my flight and I didn't even have to change terminals so you do need a lot of time there. You have to go through security again and there are long lineups. I've also flown AC and they were fine too.

I flew BA in June and had plenty of time to get to my next flight. In fact I had too much time. It was about 2 hrs between flights. You do have to go through passport control and security before you get into the waiting area and then onto your next terminal. But the security people move you along pretty fast, I found them to be very well organized.

That's good to hear Dot. Maybe the time of year helps. August can be a busy time. I pass through in early December, so hopefully I'll have a lot of time on my hands....I wanna pick up a t-shirt and fridge magnet.

I have flown Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Qantas, Garuda, Malaysia Airlines and I must say that my best flight has been with Qantas in the premium economy class. British Airways is ok by my standards but then I have only flown the premium economy class with them.I don't like Singapore airlines as the staff are very rude and don't like being asked for things like postcards.I agree with Gerry regarding their level of service. The only good thing about Singapore Airlines is that I only need 25000 points to redeem a free flight from Sydney/Melbourne to New Zealand. This is via their frequent flyer - Krisflyer. Other airlines like Emirates require 36000 points to redeem a free flight from Sydney/Melbourne to New Zealand.
