Wow, Missie, those temps are unbelievable and uncomfortable as well. Is this the worst spell you've had--in other words, we're coming through a colder and snowier winter than usual and as someone said, "excuse me I have to go outside and scrape off global warming from my windshield." Big Grin Take care S. Aussies and keep cool Cool.

Missie ~ My husband loathes the heat & it is not at all uncommon, in summer, for us to have our air-con run for 3 weeks continuously. Eeker

Ours runs continuously throughout our summer as well, Dimpz, but not so much for the heat as for the humidity. We encountered temps similar to S.Australia in New Mexico actually, but because it was so dry, somehow we didn't seem to mind as much.

Regardless ofwhat the Lacy's of the world think Brenda- global warming is here- believe those of us in Adelaide know that! And look what happened in Atlanta yesterday- that was hardly 'normal'. Please send some of your ice down here.

And we need you to come and visit. But come in the Spring or Fall--our seasons--they're as far as I'm concerned the best months.

Agreed. My personal preference is the Fall, gorgeous weather, no mosquitoes, still stays light out past 4 PM and (usually!) no snow yet!

Don't be too concerned Rex as hardly anyone who ends up on a Trafalgar tour knows anything about this board. I wish I was going on your tours but alas it is not to be.....maybe one day....after Spain, Portugal, Russia, Germany, Poland etc, etc....oh the list is endless Big Grin
