I still really need a trip to Canada though. Never been there and dying to go.

Yeah, it's even been up to the 30s in little old NZ this summer! I'm dying to go to Canada one day too. It's quite high on the list. My son is going to do a summer camp there in June. I'd love to be going too...

At last. Thanks Jeanette for answering me. I was beginning to feel all alone out here. I wish I could join you on all your tours, but that must wait for another day. It is still difficult to decide what to take with, as we are going for such a long time. time will learn. Only 8 weeks to go then we are on our way. Big Grin

Wow, only 8 weeks to go. That will pass very quickly indeed even if it does not seem that way at the moment. I can understand your woes about packing. We were away last year for 8 weeks and with the allowance of (usually) a single bag sorting out what to take took some planning. I found mixing & Matching tops and bottoms the way to go. Also we were very lucky with the lovely hot weather in Eurpope so when we had our 2 night stops the took a bit of time an did our washing and it dried very quickly.

Jeanette thanks for you advice. Now only for the extra's like shampoo, medicine, soap, ext. With our rand against the pound, it is better to take everything from here.We are going for the first 5 days to Bournmouth before we join our first tour. We are going on our own with only our baggage and our GPS.Think it is going to be great fun. Roll Eyes

Sounds like a great adventure you have planned Rex. We took our own shampoo (decantered into a smaller bottle) and shower gel as I have found, when staying at some hotels, their products to be very drying.

Decanters....now that brings back lovely warm memories of the various vinos I sampled last year... Big Grin

Will remember the smaller bottel. Thanks ror advice about the shower gel. We have sampled most of our S.A. vinos over the years. Some good, very good and some not so good. Will sample more of other countries vinos some time. Were you ever in S.A.If not, you must try it some time. It is a breathtaking country.

Jeanette ~ Much as Missie may try & convince us that S.A. is a country, it isn't it is a state! Sooooo as Rex has referred to S.A. being a breathtaking country & also referred to the rand I am guessing he is from South Africa. Wink Smiler

Plus, we don't have any bad wines in SA (South Australia). Big Grin

Thank you Rex. Point taken Dimpz. I do realise SA is one of Aussies states.
