I agree Missie it does look like a more comprehensive tour but phew it is a heck of a lot of travelling. Joe I hope you understand this will not be a leisurely 'doddle in the park'.
Still it is a big country & unless you can make multiple visits I guess you have to cram in as much as possible.
I thought the price very reasonable for what is included.

I know that if I ever make it over to Australia and/or New Zealand it will have to be a one shot deal. The cost of airfare from here to there is just SO expensive. That does look like a pretty good tour!

Similar to us flying to Europe, you have to have the passion to justify the cost!

A lot of Aussies and Kiwi's do back to back tours or longer tours to justify the airfares, I know I do, plus it is a lonnnnnnnnng flight for a short tour.

Yes I know. That is why I am considering two tours. I am also considering an extra day or two at the start to get over the jet lag or a stopover in Fiji. Unfortunately, the TT stopover in Fiji looks very expensive. All and all it adds up to a lot of time which is why I am doing such a short tour in Australia.
Can't wait to see what my TA comes up with. I have him working on a number of proposals (Trafalgar, AATKings, etc.) In the end my final decision will probably depend on who has the best air package.
joe d: I would definitely advise an extra day or two at the beginning and the end of your tour, you will be able to fit more in that way, plus you will be jet lagged at the beginning.

Jenno, when the dog decides she has lived long enough (she is nearly 18) then we can get in the car and go, up until then we have to take separate holidays because no one will take on my darling dog.

Just found out my close friends from Ottawa are going to a wedding in N.Z. A friend of theirs has a daughter who's just married a kiwi, one wedding in Ottawa--groom's father is an exporter of orchids (???). Then, oh my mouth is watering, they're going to Oz for five days in Sidney. So envious------
