joe d - Our tour of Australia has 10 flights, which I thought was a lot - but you've got us beat! 5 more sleeps - we leave on Tuesday.

Sandy enjoy your holiday in Australia. If you were coming to Adelaide the weather is glorious. If you were going to the top end (Darwin) it would be very muggy and hot. Even in Brisbane the other day it was in the 30's, and my brother has just taken the cover off their pool.

Thanks Jenno. Keep the weather nice in Adelaide for us - we don't get there until October 4th. We won't be going to Darwin on our tour, but some of our stops will be Alice Springs, Uluru, Port Douglas, and Cape Tribulation - which may also be hot. We start out in Tasmania where we'll probably freeze. We expect nicer weather - we hope - in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Sandy - we will phone the bureau of meteorology and make sure that any less than perfect weather is forecast before your arrival and after you leave. Meantime, perfect weather for us at the moment, is lots of rain. If this is not suitable, we could arrange for rain to delayed until after your visit! Big Grin Big Grin

Steve. Can you arrange to send the rain far over the Pacific, so that we get rain in California (which we desperately need), while we're enjoying sunny Australia?

Missie, Spooky - Thanks for the offer for help. I am sure I will have lots of questions but they will have to wait for now. I am off to Greece next month. I am not not going "downunder" until April.

NZ Nurse - Yes, I will be including New Zealand. We begin in Fiji, followed by Auckland, Rotorua, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Christchurch, Melbourne, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Cairns, and Sydney.

Sandy S - Have a good trip.

what a great trip Joe d - what a shame you aren't coming to Adelaide or Brisbane, but you are seeing quite a bit of Australia. Enjoy Greece.

Sandy: I think you had better pack a warm rain proof jacket with that umbrella as the weather in Tasmania is looking pretty cool for the time you arrive.

Wishing you a safe and speedy flight, try and get a bit of sleep on the plane. Smiler
