Hello all, I am new to this forum, new to the world of touring, and hope to travel to Europe for my first time. I'm interested in the Breakaway Tours; Flavour of France & Spain and Meditteranean Adventures. Does anyone have any feedback about these tours? I looked thru the forum, don't recall seeing anything abou these tours. Thank you.

Hello Nubian37 and welcome to the Bulletin Board. Smiler I am not familiar with Flavours of France and Spain as being a Breakaway tour, I am aware that the Mediterranean Adventure is a Breakaway tour.

I believe the Mediterranean Adeventure is the same as the Greek Island Hopper tour, so if you go to the red tool bar above your post click on "find" and do a search I am sure you will see some information there.

My daughter did a breakaway tour "European Focus" and had a ball. The Breakaway tours are good fun and good value. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hi Missie, thanks for responding, that alone is helpful enough. Actually, the France/Spain tour is in Breakaway's 2008 brochure, I think it may be new. I will take a look at the Greek Island Tour as you suggested and see the comparison.

Hi Michelle,

I am afraid I have led you up the garden path with my previous advice on the Mediterranean Adventure, as it has nothing to do with the Greek Island Hopper.

I found the Flavour of France and Spain on the American website, it isn't on the Australian website which is where I first looked, funny enough just the other day I mentioned somewhere on this website that a regional tour of France and Spain would be popular for a Breakaway tour.

Because the Flavour of France and Spain tour finishes in Barcelona you would need to back track to Madrid to start the Mediterranean Adventure tour, that shouldn't cause too much of a problem you could easily catch a train from Barcelona to Madrid.

Both tours look excellent and it will give you a detailed look at France, Spain and Italy. I think any of the tour tales involving Breakaway tours would be a good insight into what to expect.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, there are lots of people who visit this website who will be only too happy to help you. Smiler

Hi! I'm going on the Flavour of France and Spain tour and I'm very excited.

I chose this one after a lot of research as to how best tosee the most of Europe.

Sorry this isn't a helpful post but it was exciting to see someone else considering it.
