So I am trying to book a pretty much last minute summer trip to Europe. I have been looking at different tours and wondering what makes Trafalagar different and/or better than other tours such as contiki or topdeck?

I chose Trafalgar rather than Contiki for a number of reasons. Number one was the age group - I think Breakaway tours are more geared towards people my age rather than being targeted towards the college/school finishers. Number two was that you actually seem to stay in fairly decent hotels and I only have to share with one other person - on some other tour groups I have heard it can be as much as four!! Number three was that the tour I'm doing - the Ultimate - seems to be fairly comprehensive and covers most of what I want to see (obviously!) . I have not heard of topdeck.
